My Best Friend's Closet Personal Shopping Service-
One of my tasks as Manager at My Best Friend's Closet is to assist customers that apply for our personal shopping service. Customers can fill out a form on our website and list details such as their sizes, if they are shopping for a certain occasion, and what their personal style is like. After we recive the form, we schedule a time for the customer to come in and we pick out a rack of clothing/outfits that we feel they would be interested in.
My Best Friend's Closet Fashion Show 2022-
Every year My Best Friend's Closet puts on their annual fashion show in January to raise money for the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo, ND. I am lucky enough to have gotten to help plan and style models for this event. I assisted store owner Jennifer Fischer during styling a portion of the models, and assisted her during model fittings. During the event, I was in charge of finishing touches and making sure the models were dressed properly before they hit the runway. Below are some photos from the event.
FABO Fashion Show 2021-
In 2021, FABO had its 20th anniversary fashion show. I was a commitee chair in charge of organizing the stores and models. Specifically, I was in charge of our Scheel's and Carmine & Hayworth Vintage models. Pictured here are the models from Carmine & Hayworth Vintage.
FABO Fashion Show 2019-
The theme of FABO's fashion show 2019 was "Stairway to Style." I was in charge of two stores and organizing meetings with models at those two stores. Overall I styled six models, two for the store Violet Vintage and four for the store Voxxy, both in downtown Fargo. The goal was to style edgy outfits for the models, even at the vintage store.
